Congratulations to our very own MARCUS JOHNSON, on winning OH’s MR.BASKETBALL

This prestigious award is given to the top high school basketball player in the state, regardless of division. Marcus is only one of a handful of Cleveland area players to earn this honor and becomes only the second player in our school’s history to win. Following in the footsteps of his father, Sonny Johnson.

Marcus is currently committed to The Ohio State University where he has accepted a full athletic scholarship. Join us in congratulating Marcus and his family on this exciting accomplishment.

Marcus was selected to participate in the 2025 NIKE BASKETBALL ACADEMY IN LOS ANGELES, CA FROM 8/19-8/24 and was invited to participate in an exclusive showcase event at LA Live that follows the academy. This opportunity is designed for athletes who thrive on competition and are committed to pushing their limits.

Our committee is available Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM to assist with any questions leading up to the Taste of Turney Summer Festival.

During the festival, our team will be on site and walking the grounds to ensure everything runs smoothly. You can easily identify us by our event badges and branded shirts. Feel free to stop us at any time if you need assistance or information.

Enjoy a full lineup of live entertainment from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, featuring performances that showcase the heart of our community.
